Apple-Nut Topping

Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 apple, grated
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl; beat at low speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Stir in apple and pecans.
  3. Cover and refrigerate. Serve with gingersnaps, shortbread cookies or pound cake.
  4. Yields 1 1/2 cups.
