Instructions
- Peel and slice the apples or pears.
- Place the sliced fruit in a glass baking dish and cover with white sugar.
- Mix brown sugar and flour with butter or oleo to make a paste.
- Drop the brown sugar and flour mixture over the fruit.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
- Bake for an additional 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
