Apple Sheet Pie
A warm, buttery apple sheet pie with a crisp crust and fragrant cinnamon, perfect for cozy family gatherings or a comforting dessert treat

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix 3 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup shortening, and 2 Tbsp sugar until dough forms.
- Roll dough into a thin sheet and line a sheet pan with it.
- In another bowl, combine 8 cups sliced apples, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 2 Tbsp flour, 1 1/5 tsp cinnamon, and 1/2 stick margarine or butter; toss until coated.
- Pour apple mixture over the crust, spreading evenly.
- Dribble any remaining butter or margarine over the top of the apples.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes, until the crust is golden and apples are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
