Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • pinch of mace
  • pinch of ground coriander
  • 3 c. apples

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add apples, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
  2. Mix well until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, and coriander.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with the apple mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture into a prepared pie shell.
  6. Add the top pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits if desired.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
