Ingredients

  • 5 Shredded Wheat biscuits
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 (No. 2 1/2) can apricot halves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon mace
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Crush the Shredded Wheat biscuits into fine crumbs.
  2. Combine 1/3 cup of sugar with the melted butter.
  3. Pat about two-thirds of the biscuit crumbs onto the bottom of a greased 8-inch round cake pan to form the crust.
  4. Arrange the apricot halves evenly on top of the crumb layer.
