- Cut and wash the cauliflower.
- Boil chicken in water with small amounts of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a small piece of lemon.
- Wash or soak rice for about 10 minutes.
- Put olive oil, cumin, garlic salt, and regular salt in the bottom of a casserole dish and season to taste.
- Place the cooked chicken in the casserole dish, then layer with cauliflower, then rice.
- Pour the broth from the chicken over the ingredients, adding water if needed to cover completely.
- Dot with butter and cook in the oven on high for about 10 minutes.
- Lower the oven temperature to medium-high and cook until the rice is tender.
