Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
  • 2 packages graham crackers, crushed or prepared crumbs
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) package cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Keep all ingredients at room temperature before preparing.
  2. Prepare the graham cracker crust by mixing crushed graham crackers with melted butter and pressing into a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla, and continue mixing until well combined.
  5. Slowly add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for about 50 minutes or until set.
  8. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating for several hours or overnight.
