Ingredients

  • 1 (3 to 4 lb.) roast
  • 1/4 cup coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Rub coarsely ground black pepper over the roast.
  2. Mix tomato paste, paprika, garlic powder, soy sauce, and vinegar; pour the mixture over the roast.
