A rich, crunchy fudge layered with buttery crackers, semi-sweet chocolate, and toasted pecans, perfect for sharing at gatherings or enjoying as a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Club crackers
  • 2 sticks real butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. roasted pecans, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Line a jelly roll pan with foil and grease well.
  2. Line the foil with a layer of Club crackers and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the crackers in the pan.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot mixture.
  7. Allow the chocolate to melt, then spread evenly with a spatula.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
  9. Refrigerate until firm, then break into pieces and serve.
