- Combine softened cream cheese and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating on high after each addition.
- Add half of the salt, vanilla, cornstarch, and sour cream; mix well.
- Add the remaining half of the salt, vanilla, cornstarch, and sour cream; mix until well combined.
- Grease a 9 x 3 3/4-inch spring-form pan with butter or margarine.
- Line the bottom of the pan with 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs.
- Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door closed for an additional hour.
