Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds fish

Instructions

  1. In a 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish, combine butter, parsley, and lemon juice.
  2. Microwave, uncovered, at level 9, for 9 to 12 minutes, turning the fish over once with a large spatula after 4 minutes of cooking.
  3. The fish is done when the flesh comes away easily from the bones when flaked with a fork.
  4. Let the fish stand, covered, for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
