Baked Ham Concord

Ingredients

  • 1 ham
  • 2 onions
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 1 dash cloves
  • 1 dash allspice
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. grape juice
  • 1 c. bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cover ham with water and add cloves, cinnamon, onions and allspice.
  2. Simmer slowly for 20 minutes per pound of ham.
  3. Remove any skin and cut fat in a crisscross design.
  4. Put ham in roasting pan and cover with mixture of bread crumbs and brown sugar.
  5. Bake 5 minutes in a 450° oven.
  6. Reduce heat to 300° and baste with grape juice every few minutes.
  7. Bake 18 minutes per pound at 300°.
