Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Gradually add the sifted all-purpose flour to the beaten eggs, beating with a rotary beater until smooth.
  2. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and salt (if using).
  3. Grease a 9 or 10-inch skillet and pour the batter into it.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) for 20 minutes.
  5. Cut into wedges and serve hot with fruit sauce or syrup.
