Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 5 to 6 slices bread, crusts removed, cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions

  1. Cream the oleo and sugar together.
  2. Add the eggs and beat well.
  3. Stir in the drained crushed pineapple.
  4. Add the bread cubes and mix gently.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour. If using Pyrex, reduce the oven temperature to 325°F.
