Baked Pirohi

Instructions
- Add grated Cheddar cheese to cooked and mashed potatoes, then beat well.
- Saute diced onions in oleo until translucent.
- Mix one-third of the sautéed onions into the potato and cheese mixture, add salt to taste.
- Generously grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Place a layer of cooked lasagna noodles on the bottom of the pan.
- Add a layer of the potato and cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
- Repeat layering with remaining noodles and potato mixture, ending with a layer of noodles on top.
- Pour the remaining sautéed onions over the top layer.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
