Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or lemon flavoring

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs until well combined.
  2. Add sugar and blend thoroughly.
  3. Alternate adding flour and milk, blending after each addition until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla or lemon flavoring and softened margarine.
  5. Mix everything well until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.
  7. Bake at 400°F until the pudding is done and golden around the edges.
  8. Cut into squares and serve warm.
  9. For variety, top with your favorite frosting or toppings.
  10. Serve with sweetened canned blackberries or your preferred fruit.
