- Rinse the trout thoroughly.
- Pour sliced mushrooms into a baking pan and spread evenly.
- Season the trout inside and out with seafood seasoning (Old Bay).
- Lay the seasoned trout on top of the mushrooms in the pan.
- Slice the onion and place the slices inside the cavity of each fish.
- Slice the margarine or butter and place on top of each fish.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the fish for 30 to 45 minutes, until well done.
