Instructions

  1. Peel onions and cut out all of the hard core on the root side, leaving a good size hole.
  2. Place the onions in a baking dish.
  3. Fill the hole with margarine and instant chicken or beef flavored bouillon.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the onions.
  5. Cover and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes per onion, depending on size.
  6. Baste the onions at least once during cooking.
