Ingredients

  • 12-14 lb. beef
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
  • 6 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 6 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/3 cup coarse ground pepper
  • liquid smoke

Instructions

  1. Mix salt, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and coarse ground pepper together.
  2. Rub a generous amount of seasoning into the beef.
  3. Sprinkle liquid smoke on all sides of the beef.
  4. Wrap the beef tightly in heavy-duty foil, folding from side to side and folding the ends.
  5. Place the wrapped beef in a brown paper bag.
  6. Put the bag in a pan that has been sprayed with Pam.
  7. Cook at 200°F for 24 hours.
