Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • liquid smoke to taste (1 tsp to 1 Tbsp)
  • 4 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Melt the oleo or butter in a large pan.
  2. Add chopped celery and onions to the pan.
  3. Cook slowly until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cream of chicken soups, chicken broth, mushrooms, and liquid smoke to the mixture.
  6. Stir in the cooked rice until well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°F.
