Barbecued Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. pork chops (cut thick)
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. tomato puree
  • 1/4 c. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together (can make hot).
  2. Pour over meat and cook in dish or pan covered at 325° to 350°.
  3. Keep meat covered with sauce while it bakes.
  4. Can be made night before, left in sauce, then baked.
