Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mushrooms
  • 2 or 3 cloves garlic, minced, (I get little jar of minced garlic at Krogers)
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • Salt, pepper and onion powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
  2. Microwave the sliced mushrooms on high for 4 minutes in a covered dish, stirring halfway and draining the liquid.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in 2–3 Tbsp. oil until fragrant.
  4. Add the drained mushrooms to the pan, season with salt, pepper, and onion powder to taste, and stir.
  5. Pour in 3 Tbsp. ketchup, mixing well, and continue sautéing until the ketchup is absorbed and coats the bottom of the pan.
  6. Add more ketchup if desired, stirring until desired consistency is reached.
