Ingredients

  • 1/2 small onion, peeled
  • 1 large clove garlic, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried basil or oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in an electric blender.
  2. Cover and blend at high speed about 10 seconds or until smooth.
  3. Store in a screw-top jar in the refrigerator.
