Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups loosely packed basil leaves
  • 3/4 lb butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, chop the basil leaves.
  2. Add butter, lemon juice, and white pepper; blend until smooth.
  3. Drop by half tablespoons onto a cookie sheet; freeze.
  4. Remove from cookie sheet and store in freezer bags.
  5. Use to flavor chicken, fish, or vegetables.
