Ingredients

  • 2 qt. fresh garden lettuce
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 7 Tbsp. whipping cream
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the greens.
  2. Turn whole leaves into a wide salad bowl.
  3. Finely mince the fresh basil leaves.
  4. Sprinkle the minced basil over the greens.
  5. Pour the whipping cream and lemon juice over the salad.
  6. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
  7. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
