Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions (include tops)
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed basil
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Thaw frozen peas by pouring boiling water over them; drain. Melt butter; add onions and cook until tender but not brown.
  2. Stir in peas and remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until tender.
