Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 (1 lb.) can barbecue beans
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon and crumble it.
  3. Set aside the crumbled bacon.
  4. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings.
  5. Add barbecue beans, shredded cabbage, vinegar, and sugar to the pan.
  6. Mix well and stir occasionally as it cooks.
