Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and grated sharp Cheddar cheese together.
  2. Add sifted flour, red pepper, and salt to the mixture.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Stir in Rice Krispies until evenly incorporated.
  5. Drop teaspoons of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten each cookie with the back of a spoon.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
