Ingredients

  • 1 flank steak (1 1/2 to 2 lb.)
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry or orange juice
  • 3 Tbsp. Chinese oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic

Instructions

  1. Lay steak
  2. in
  3. shallow
  4. pan.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over
  6. meat.
  7. Turn
  8. over
  9. to
  10. marinate
  11. both
  12. sides. Cover and refrigerate
  13. for
  14. 6
  15. to 8 hours or overnight.
  16. (Drain and rescue marinade you
  17. can
  18. save
  19. and
  20. use it on hamburger or chicken if you wish.)
  21. Broil steak over very hot coals for 8 to 10 minutes each side or cook in frying pan over high heat for 3 to 5 minutes each
  22. side.
