Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. macaroni

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, water, and dry onion soup mix to the beef. Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Cook macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Combine cooked macaroni with the beef mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish, top with grated Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
