- Dredge beef cubes in flour and brown in oil.
- Remove meat and wipe Dutch oven clean.
- Return meat to Dutch oven and add carrot, onion, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, catsup, beef stock and red wine. Put Dutch oven in oven and bake at 325° for about 3 hours.
