Beef-Cabbage Bake

- Cook rice in boiling water for 20 minutes, until the rice is tender.
- Cook ground beef and onions until the onions are tender and the meat is no longer pink; drain off the fat.
- Combine cooked and drained rice and ground meat mixture with Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt.
- Butter a 3-quart casserole.
- Place 1/2 of the chopped cabbage for the first layer.
- Pour 1/3 of the tomatoes over cabbage.
- Next, place meat mixture and the rest of the cabbage.
- Press down some and add the rest of the tomatoes.
- You may sprinkle salt, pepper, Italian seasoning or basil if you desire.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
