Ingredients

  • 8 slices cubed buttered bread
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. browned pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Place cubed bread in greased casserole or 9 x 13-inch pan. Layer drained sausage over bread cubes; sprinkle the shredded cheese over sausage.
  2. Combine beaten eggs and milk; pour mixture over ingredients in casserole.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 40 minutes.
  5. Serves 10 to 12 people.
