Berry-Cherry Pie

Ingredients

  • pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie
  • 3 c. fresh blueberries or raspberries
  • 3 c. sour cherries (canned is fine)
  • 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel

Instructions

  1. Prepare pie crust.
  2. Roll out half and line bottom of 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°.
  4. In large mixing bowl, combine berries and cherries, all but 1 teaspoon sugar, the flour, lemon juice, lemon peel and melted butter.
  5. Turn into pie plate.
