Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 1/4 cup self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients and place in a brown paper bag.
  2. Drop pieces of the fish into the bag and shake until the pieces are well coated.
  3. Drop fish immediately into hot oil.
