Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. oatmeal
  • 3 tsp. flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. melted butter or oleo
  • 2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Stir in butter.
  3. Add egg and vanilla. Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
  4. Drop dough by 1/2 teaspoon; space far apart.
  5. Bake at 375° for about 7 minutes. Pull foil off cookie sheet.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Cookies will slip off when cool.
  8. Will keep indefinitely.
  9. Makes about 8 dozen.
