Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large can tomatoes, chopped (with juice)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large, deep pan.
  2. Add chopped onion, salt, and pepper; cook until softened. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic salt, chili powder, chopped tomatoes with juice, water, and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in macaroni and cook at medium temperature until pasta is tender.
