Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. crumbled Blue cheese
  • 1/4 c. light cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. milk
  • 1 apple
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 6 large sliced French bread
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped walnuts
  • pinch of dried dill weed
  • pinch of coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix Blue cheese, cream cheese, and milk until well combined.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Core the apple.
  4. Cut the apple in half and slice into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  5. Toss the apple slices with lemon juice.
  6. Toast the bread slices.
  7. Spread each toast with the Blue cheese mixture.
  8. Top with apple slices.
  9. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, dried dill, and ground black pepper.
