- In a covered 9 x 13-inch pan, layer the lettuce, celery, onions, peppers and peas in that order.
- Spread the mayonnaise over the top.
- On top of the mayonnaise, sprinkle the cheese, then the eggs and tomatoes.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Serve.
- Makes 12 servings.
