Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. beef stew meat
  • 2 c. chopped carrots
  • 2 c. chopped potatoes
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 2 to 4 onions, quartered
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (22 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large baking dish or pot.
  2. Cover and bake at 250°F for 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
