Boiling Oatmeal Cookies

Chewy, chocolate-flavored oatmeal cookies with peanut butter or coconut, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and suitable for quick snacks or dessert treats.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter and/or 1/2 c. coconut
  • 3 c. oatmeal

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, milk, cocoa, margarine, and vanilla well.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and/or coconut.
  4. Add oatmeal and stir well.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper to cool and set.
