Bourbon Balls
Bourbon balls are a delightful no-bake treat that combines the rich flavors of butter, chocolate, and the warmth of bourbon. - Beat butter in a medium-size bowl until light and fluffy.
- Gradually beat in the 10x confectioners sugar.
- Slowly beat in the bourbon and chill for 1 hour or until the mixture is stiff enough to shape.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Arrange the balls in a single layer on a wax paper-lined tray and chill for 1 hour.
- Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water.
- Remove the chocolate from heat and cool until it reaches a good dipping consistency.
- Dip each bourbon ball halfway into the chocolate using a 3-pronged fork.
- Return the dipped balls to the wax paper-lined tray.
- Place a pecan half on top of each ball.
- Once all the bourbon balls have been dipped, return the tray to the refrigerator.
- Chill for about 30 minutes or until firm.
