Ingredients

  • 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 pt. fresh strawberries
  • 8 fresh peaches
  • sugar to taste
  • 1/2 cup brandy or cognac

Instructions

  1. Defrost the unopened can of orange juice concentrate.
  2. Wash and hull the strawberries; blot dry on paper towels.
  3. Peel the peaches, cut into halves, and remove the pits.
  4. Place the prepared fruits in a shallow crystal bowl.
  5. Sprinkle the fruits with sugar; layer strawberries and peaches, sprinkling lightly with sugar to taste.
  6. Stir the brandy into the undiluted orange juice concentrate.
  7. Pour the orange juice mixture over the fruits and gently mix to combine.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  9. Serve in individual small bowls.
