- After the dough or manual cycle is completed in the bread machine, remove the dough from the machine.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and carefully form into a ball without punching down.
- Place onto a greased cookie sheet and let rise about 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Brush the risen dough with beaten egg.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the bread cool completely.
- Hollow out the cooled bread like a pumpkin, reserving the lid to put back on.
- Fill with your favorite meat, soup, or other fillings.
- Replace the top of the bread.
- Serve and enjoy.
