Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 32 oz. milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in the pan you will use to bake in.
  2. Crumble the French bread into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and raisins (if using) to the bread.
  4. Mix well until combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes until set and golden.
