Ingredients

  • 2 heaping Tbsp. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 5 c. warm water
  • 1 c. powdered milk
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 c. oil

Instructions

  1. Combine yeast, 1 cup of warm water, and sugar; let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Add to beaten eggs, salt, oil, 1 cup sugar, and 5 cups of warm water.
  3. Add yeast mixture, then gradually add 15 cups of flour to which you have added 1 cup of powdered milk. Mix until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. Knead down the dough.
  6. Put into loaf pans; let rise until doubled in bulk.
  7. Bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
