Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 (3 oz.) strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the crushed vanilla wafers.
  2. Pat the mixture firmly on the bottom of an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  3. Chill the crust.
  4. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry-flavored gelatin in boiling water.
  5. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and sliced strawberries.
  6. Fold in the miniature marshmallows and whipped topping (Cool Whip).
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared vanilla wafers crust.
  8. Chill for 2 hours or more before serving. Garnish with additional Cool Whip or strawberries if desired.
