Soft, fluffy bread rolls with a slightly sweet flavor, perfect for sandwiches, breakfast or as a side. Easy to make using a bread machine for fresh, homemade results.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup water (warm)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Combine the bread flour, sugar, nonfat dry milk, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Place warm water in the bread machine pan.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the water in the bread machine.
  4. Top with margarine and dry yeast.
  5. Select the dough setting on the bread machine.
  6. After 5 minutes, check the mixture and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed.
  7. When the cycle is complete, turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  8. Punch down the dough.
  9. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
  10. Divide the dough into 12 portions.
  11. Shape each portion into a ball.
  12. Place the balls on a lightly greased pan.
  13. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  14. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
