Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 8 oz. medium Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. frozen hash browns

Instructions

  1. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer cubed bread, cooked sausage, and grated cheese.
  2. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, dry mustard, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the pan.
  4. Spread the thawed hash browns evenly on top.
  5. Refrigerate the assembled casserole for 24 hours.
  6. Bake covered at 350°F for 35 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
