Instructions
- Mix eggs, sugar, shortening and sour milk until smooth.
- Sift together flour, salt, soda, nutmeg and baking powder.
- Add to mixture until doesn't stick to hands.
- Let rise on floured board for about 20 minutes.
- Roll and cut.
- Deep fry at 390°, about 1 minute per side.
